Landscape Laborer

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States

Greenway Property Services is a premier landscape contractor located in Stamford, CT serving the Connecticut/New York area for more than 20 years. We are actively searching for a Landscape Laborer to join the exciting, talented team of this growing company. At Greenway, we’re a tight-knit crew who are passionate about caring for our clients as we are about each other. Though we’re a growing company, we maintain a small company feel and supportive environment that makes our team feel like a family. If you are looking to join a crew of talented go-getters who tackle big vision projects other companies could only dream of, you might just have found your match.

Here’s what you’d do:
Create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. Safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

You’d be responsible for:
Mowing, trimming, edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit of the landscape
Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch
Picking up and removing unwanted trash, debris, dead or damaged trees
Weeding and mulching landscape beds
Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers

Experience and Requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old
Eligible to work in the United States
Enthusiastic, dependable and detail oriented
Ability to work safely with power equipment like mowers, weedwhackers, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for extended periods of time
Landscape maintenance: 1 Year (Preferred)
Any landscapers who will be operating a Greenway Property fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record


High School or Equivalent (Preferred)
OSHA Certification (Preferred)

Compensation – $18 to $20 per hour paid weekly
