Charles ‘Chuck’ W.B. Wardell III brings decades of experience in business, politics and the military and was named by BusinessWeek as one of the world’s fifty most influential search executives. Most recently, Wardell was Chairman and CEO where he served as chairman of emerging markets and senior advisor to the chief executive officer. He also held senior leadership roles at American Express, Travelers, MasterCard International and Citicorp. He received the prestigious Gardner W. Heidrick Award for his contributions to the industry and previously served as global chairman of the Association of Executive Search Consultants. Mr. Wardell’s impressive career began when he graduated as an officer from the U.S. Army Special Warfare School. He is a decorated combat veteran who served with distinction in Vietnam. Following his Army service, he graduated from Harvard College and continued his career in the White House – as deputy special assistant to Presidents Nixon and Ford and was appointed by President Ford a deputy assistant Secretary of State working in Henry Kissinger’s State Department.
Currently, is co-founder of Camden Kelly, a national staffing firm.

As a founding member of Greenway Property Services, Rocco Lagana serves as the company’s President and CEO. Rocco’s over 50 years of experience in the landscape industry has generated a vast knowledge of the industry’s operations, sales and marketing. He’s provided landscape maintenance and construction services for a wide variety of clients, ranging from residential customers to some of the country’s largest and most prestigious landscape accounts. Rocco is dedicated to utilizing his knowledge, experience, and determination to always deliver the highest quality of service. His focus now is to oversee the growth of Greenway Property Services Inc., both organically and through acquisitions. His vision is to increase market share and eventually become a regional force on the east coast.

Director of Sales and Acquisitions

Rocky has been with Greenway Property Services since its inception. As one of the founding members of the company, he brings over 15 years’ experience in the landscape industry. With a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Connecticut, Rocky originally carried a number of sales oriented jobs. In 2006, he joined the ranks of Green Valley Landscaping, a startup in Las Vegas Nevada, as an Account Manager. After 2 years he was promptly promoted to Operations Manager, a role in which he thrived for an additional 2 years. Relocating back to the east coast in 2010, Greenway Property Services Inc. was incorporated. Rocky has held numerous positions during his tenure with GPS. His vast knowledge of landscape operations, bidding practices and customer service have led him to his current role as Director of Sales and Acquisitions. His focus now revolves around building an effective team of business developers and vetting all new future acquisitions.

Chief Marketing Officer

Stephen comes to Greenway with a wealth of marketing and business experience. He graduated with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from Lehigh University. He then worked for top New York advertising agencies, assigned to a wide variety of products and services, including new products and new markets, managing the advertising and Public Relations. After 10 years in the “ad biz,” he moved to California to manage, grow and eventually sell a direct mail/marketing company to their key competitor. Returning to New York City, he was hired by a sales promotion and marketing company where he worked on and launched several credit card programs and was the primary liaison with MasterCard International for their corporate sponsorship of the National Basketball Association. As a result, he was hired by MasterCard to head their affinity card program, expanding the role to include co-branded cards, that resulted in a dramatic share shift versus VISA. Stephen provides broad perspective and insightful analyses, always leading to dramatic, positive product (or corporate) results.

Dylan Symonette
Director Of Operations

Dylan comes with 13 years of experience in the commercial landscape and construction industry. He owned and operated his own excavation and landscape installation company focusing on site development , and golf course construction in the tri- state area for 8 years. Since joining the Greenway Property Services team, he has focused on developing and growing the Athletic Field construction portion of the business. Dylan has managed some of the largest and toughest contracts in the tri state area and has proven his skills in running day to day operations and customer relations.

Major Accounts Manager

Anthony has been in the green industry since 2010 and joined Greenway Property Services in 2016, bringing over 25 years of sales, customer service and account management experience. He manages the Wethersfield Office and the related clients. And is morning production manager who ensures all crew members are deployed on-time with the proper and best equipment.
His attention to detail and professionalism drives his ability to deliver the highest quality of service.
